The 2024 Points System is aimed at creating the most competitive and level playing field possible. With continued emphasis on individual events, Major events, and the increased points distribution for the Tour Championship, players will be rewarded for their consistency & hard work throughout the entire year. This is sure to be another exciting season that will come down to the wire at this year’s Tour Championship.
BAG Tour Members can earn points in any Tour sanctioned event in North or South Carolina. The 2024 Season will crown a North Carolina Champion, a South Carolina Champion as well as the overall National Champion Golfer of the Year.
North Carolina will host 13 events while South Carolina looks to host 8-10 in its inaugural season. (Full SC Schedule coming soon!)
National Touring points will be calculated by a player’s 10 best tournament scores. Therefore, if you compete in 13 total events, you will get to drop your 3 worst tournament points totals. The points total from your 10 best events will determine your overall standings on the National Leaderboard. Your top 10 events can come from either NC or SC BAG Tour sanctioned events.
New for 2024 – Winning a regular season event will automatically earn you an invitation to the Tour Championship (for current members). Tour Championship will consist of 60 players max. Invitations will be sent out in order of National Ranking for open spots/players who haven’t already won their way into the show.
