Penny Hardaway, the former NBA All-Star, and current coach at the University of Memphis, has a deep love for competition, and that is evident in his participation on the BAG Tour. The BAG Tour is a revolutionary golf tour that provides opportunites for golfers of all skill levels and backgrounds to compete on a level playing field.

Penny loves the fact that the BAG Tour allows him to compete with golfers of the same skill level. This means he doesnt have to worry about being outmatched by more experienced or skilled players, so he can focus on playing his best game and having a good time.

Pennys favorite feature of the BAG Tour is the sense of camaraderie and community that is behind it. The Tour is open to golfers of all backgrounds, which means that players from all different walks of life can come together and bond over their shared love for the game. This creates a fun and invlusive environment that Penny finds very appealing.

Penny also appreciates the Tour’s focus on promoting & supporting up and coming golfers of all skill levels from all backgrounds. The tour provides access and opportunites for all players to improve thier skills and compete at a higher level, which is very important to Penny as a Coach and Competitor.

In conclusion, Penny loves the BAG Tour because it allows him to play golf in a fun, inclusive and competitive environment where he can just be himself. That in addition to promoting and supporting the up and coming generation of athletes on and off the course is something that he can get behind. Penny will continue to be involved on Tour and plans to play an instrumental role in the development and launch of BAG Tour Tennessee which expects to host its inagural event in 2023.

“I had a blast my first time out there kicking it with the guys. Such a great group. I can’t wait to get back out there with the boys, defend my title and take some more money from Mike Meadows”

Penny in Action

In Pennys first appearance on the BAG Tour, he was able to secure the bag in dramatic fashion with birdies on 2 of the last 3 holes to secure a 2 shot victory with teammate, Ethan Lee. They picked up their win at the prestigeous Peninsula Club during the Peninsula Club Championship which was one of our featured events of the 2022 season. On top of that, Coach was able to cash in on one of only two skins paid out that day. Coach and Ethan will be back this year to defend their crown and dont be suprised if we see them pop in at a few more events this season.
