Our goal and commitment to our members will always be to provide the most fair, competitive and entertaining experience possible. If you come out and play some good golf, you should have a good shot to win your division that day. If you come out and play like crap, you probably shouldnt expect to win.
In an effort to keep things transparent and fair for everyone, and because some people dont accurately track/log their handicaps, this year, members will be flighted based on their Tour Index which is derived from your Official Individual Tournament Scoring.
Handicaps will still be used when necessary, for example, If a new player joins the Tour, he will initially be flighted into the appropriate division based on his handicap & If a current member has only played one individual stroke play event then his handicap will be taken into account when forming his current Tour Index.
Determining Tour Index from Handicap:
If a new member joins and his handicap is 3.0, that will translate to a 75.0 Tour Index and he will play in Division B.
If a current member has shot a 75 in his only stroke play event and his handicap is a 1.0, his current Tour Index would translate to 74.0.
Division Movement:
It is possible and likely for players to move up or down divisions from the division you start in based on your tournament scoring. After each individual tournament, your score will be averaged into your current Tour Index and where you play in your next event is determined by your new Tour Index.
Ex. If a player who’s Tour Index is 75.0 goes out and shoots 72, his new Tour Index would be 73.5 bumping him up to Division A for his next event.

Players may earn points in 2023 by participating in Matchplay Brackets, the Winner Stays Up Challenge, Head to Head Challenge Matches or any of our 2023 Scheduled Events.
